sum up the wia program

I've liked the breakout sessions that we have on tuesdays and thursdays. they are something we will be able to use in our future job searches. I also like all the times with our groups we have had. the breakfasts each morning are something to be remembered , my favorites were the turnovers and the muffins!
i've liked making new friends this summer. the wia program has kept me busy so i don't get bored. it's also given me a head start on saving up money for when i realy need it.

What is the best thing u learned in W.I.A. so far

I've learned to be responsible for being on time for work, calling in when i can't make it into work, and being respectful to my bosses and facilitators.

what is the first commercial that comes to mind? do u like it

The McDonalds commercial is the first commercial that pops into my head when i think of a TV commercial. I like this commercial because Mcdonalds theme song can quickly get stuck in your head and i love their food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what 5 things do u look for in an employee?

when hiring an employee I'd like them to have the fallowing traits and characteristics

• loyal
• trust worthy
• honest
• they take initative
• good personalty

My business is nursing, and in this business we give care to the general public. We take walk-ins and we also take appointments. we are located in St.Clair Michigan and we always have staff waiting to assist anyone in need of medical emergencys.

if you had a million $ what would u spend it on?

I would put money up for collage, buy a house, buy a car, pay for my drivers trainging and put the rest in the bank.

what job is best 4 you,collage do u need, how much will u make?

i'm looking into becoming a LPN (licensed practical nurse). It takes one year of training. An you get paid anywhere from the high teens to twentys.

What learning style r u? what can u do to help u learn?

I am an aural/auditory learner. To make learning easier I can attend lectures, discuss topics with students, use a tape recorder. When studying i should: Expand my notes, read summarized notes out loud, and explain notes to another aural person.

In the yearbook, how do you want to be remembered?

In the yearbook I'd like to be remembered as the easy to talk to fellow employee, who even though is pregnant still can enjoy the experience of working at the WIA summer program.

What does WIA mean to you?

To me WIA means a chance to get experience in working at a real job. It also means a paycheck for the summer time, and a head start on getting money for the near future.
